We have heard the lunacy from the anti-gun bigots that “a good guy with a gun never stops a bad guy with a gun.” As a society we debate and watch while innocent school children are made defenseless due to humanity’s cruelest social experiment: “gun-free” zones. Meanwhile those who want to disarm us are carrying or surrounded by guns.
While these demonic policies are being pushed by radical left-wing, anti-self defense organizations and politicians (many of whom are armed or surround themselves with armed guards), a large majority of Americans are not falling for their scare tactics and insane proposals.
Case in point, just this week, in an Oklahoma City restaurant, a deadly massacre was prevented due to the quick thinking and courage of two armed men. The two men, Juan Carlos Nazario, 35, and Bryan Wittle, 39, shot and killed the alleged gunman, police said. The alleged gunman walked into Louie’s Grill & Bar and opened fire. Sadly, the alleged gunman did hit three people, including a mother Natalie Giles, 39, her 12-year-old daughter and another child.
All are expected to live thanks to the quick, decisive actions of Nazario and Wittle – who grabbed their handguns and killed the gunman within seconds. Thank goodness these men did not live in New Jersey or subscribe to the philosophy they are safer disarmed and should wait for the police to show up and count bodies.
We commend these two men and pray for a speedy recovery for the victims.
