NJ2AS Endorses Oroho, Space, and Wirths in District 24

-Strongest team on firearms rights in New Jersey wins pro-second amendment organization’s backing-

Today the New Jersey Second Amendment Society (NJ2AS) is announcing their endorsement of Steve Oroho for Senate and Parker Space and Hal Wirths for Assembly in the District 24 Republican Primary.

“We decided to let our membership know in Sussex, Warren, and Morris Counties that in Oroho, Space, and Wirths they have one of strongest, most active teams in the state defending Second Amendment rights,” said Alexander Roubian, President of NJ2AS.

“Oroho and Space have fought against every single one of the liberal Democrats schemes to further erode our rights here,” said Roubian. “They both have showed a commitment to the issue and to try and advance our legislation on items such as concealed carry and reforming our inadequate and antiquated firearms licensing and permit system.”

Oroho and Space are sponsors of ” shall issue” concealed carry and other legislative measures to improve New Jersey’s laws.

Hal Wirths, the former Commissioner of Labor, is no stranger to supporting Second Amendment rights Roubian stated.

“I met with Hal and I can tell you that he is sincere in his views in supporting firearms rights in New Jersey. He will be a vocal leader at the State House battling the liberals there.”

If elected, Wirths promised to sponsor pro-gun bills such as concealed carry and repealing New Jersey’s laws such as its ban on the possession of hollow-point ammunition, smart gun mandate, and one gun a month to name a few as well as reforming how New Jerseyans have to purchase firearms.

In addition to the candidates’ support of the Second Amendment, Roubian noted how the legislative staff is on board in defending gun rights as well.

“Steve’s and Parker’s office is top notch when it comes to communicating with pro-gun leaders and keeping us in the loop on the goings on in Trenton,” Roubian said. “We believe in keeping this entire team together and adding in Hal to support gun owners all over New Jersey.

“For gun owners in the 24th District, I urge them to vote for Oroho, Space, and Wirths in the Republican Primary on June 6th.”

The 24th Legislative District includes all of Sussex County and portions of both Warren and Morris Counties:
