National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act Nearly Has Enough Votes to Pass the House

HR38_Image.jpeg

We’re back with an update on the National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act (HR38). HR38 nearly has enough has enough cosponsors for the bill to pass the House of Representatives as is. Currently there are 193 cosponsors of the bill, those 193 have already indicated their intention to vote for the bill. However of those 193, only one is from New Jersey. We’re trying to change that though and we need your help.

As mentioned previously, currently only Representative Tom MacArthur of NJ’s 3rd District has cosponsored HR38 due to NJ2AS’ efforts. The remaining Representatives have either remained silent, won’t give us a straight answer, or are apoplectic about the thought of regular people exercising their right to self defense in New Jersey.

We’re asking our supporters to contact their Representative if they are on the list below to let them know their constituents support this bill! Click their name and you’ll be taken to their website where you can leave a message or find a phone number to call. Politely ask them if they are supporting HR38, and if so why they are not cosponsoring the bill. Let them know you are a supporter of NJ2AS.

To find out who your Representative is, you can use this tool.
